Battle Royale Mode in Battlefield 5 could release soon in 2019

Battlefield V’s new and latest battle royale mode is officially titled as Firestorm. The battle royale mode will arrive sometime in the mid of Spring 2019, several months after the release of the original game on November 20.
As revealed during the latest preview of Battlefield V in September, which included several details of the various modes of the game, Firestorm is Battlefield’s take on the latest battle royale mode, but it is not quite like most of the popular modes of battle royale out there. Firestorm sees 16 teams, each consists of four players battle across a large open-world map described as the largest in the history of the franchise. Based on the size of the maps of Battlefield to date, that is actually saying something.
This large map is filled with weapons, vehicles, and destructible environments that will ideally help you easily eliminate your competition. It appears that the large size of the map will slowly be shrunk by a big ring of fire that closes in on the player. It is not completely clear how quickly this large ring of fire moves, but we made some assumptions that it will work like most other games of battle royale, let us say that it will work in stages or parts that allow you a little breathing room.
The fact that the small brief section of this gameplay trailer devoted to Firestorm focuses on the various vehicles is probably not a coincidence. Fortnite battle royale features relatively few vehicles and the vehicles of PUBG are largely for darting around the map as fast as possible, but it seems like Firestorm is going to allow you to use tanks and other high-end combat vehicles within the designated play zone.
What is especially interesting about Firestorm is that it does not sound like it is going to be a tacked-on mode of battle royale which is designed to remind you of many other popular games. The idea of a very large-scale squad battle royale is both true to the spirit of the Battlefield series and sounds like a battle mode that Battlefield fans will be happy to try out based only on the reason that they play Battlefield in the very first place.
Sadly, though, that is all still a bit abstract at the moment as we are still waiting to hear a lot of things about how this new battle royale mode will work and what it looks like in action mode. Do you start with the basic standard gear or no gear at all? How do classes come into play? Is there some kind of system of revival? Once several questions like these are answered, then we should have a better idea about whether or not you should be truly hyped and excited about this new addition to the Battlefield mode family.
Battlefield 5’s new and latest battle royale mode is scheduled to release in mid Spring (or Autumn in Australia), which means it could launch any time between now and the end of the month of May. But according to new evidence of in-game, it will probably end up coming sooner rather than later.
